Hoopenburg Guest House is situated on a 70 hectare boutique wine estate, with the lush garden attracting a wide range of birdlife. Sweeping views over the vineyards and lovely sunsets makes this a natural splendour. Relax at the pool or take a stroll through the vineyards to the wine cellar and enjoy a glass of wine.

The location is very central and a great base to explore the nearby attractions, as well as a perfect spot for the business traveller. The guest house is a mere 30 minutes from Cape Town CBD and 10 minutes from Stellenbosch, with easy access to the N1 highway.

We also offer facilities for small conferences up to 10 delegates and function facilities for up to 100 guests. We offer warm and friendly yet discreet hospitality and go the extra mile to ensure our guests a wonderful stay.

Wedding Venues: The lush garden with green lawns is a perfect setting for an outside venue. We host small intimate weddings for 40 to 80 guests.

Conference venue: We cater for small conferences up to 10 delegates, with overhead projector, screen, flip chart, and fax available.

Reasonably comfortable

Clean, comfortable, spacious. Noise (dogs/cleaners) should be better mangaged close to rooms and gate should have auto opening on exit (to cater for early leavers when no staff are around).

We had a great time there. We rented the whole house for nine people, and we all had a great time. Beautiful house, lots of open space outside, the pool for the kids. And the surroundings are stunning.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hoopenburg! The location is absolutely beautiful and the house felt like home! The rooms are lovely and the chickens and friendly dogs add to the extremely quaint look and feel of Hoopenburg! We will be back!

A beautiful, tranquil setting. About 15-20 minutes' drive from Stellenbosch. Situated on a farm, the guest house is surrounded by vineyards with 360-degree views of the lovely Stellenbosch Mountains. Warm, friendly service. Lovely, spacious rooms. Lots of privacy. Fantastic breakfast! A wonderful experience.

Ons het omtrent 01:30 die oggend by Hoopenburg gastehuis aangekom. Dit was regtig al baie laat. Die verwelkoming was baie baie gasvry (alhoewel ons hulle opgejaag het uit die bed)! Charlene en al haar personeel was so vriendelik. Dit het regtig gevoel asof ons by ons eie familie tuisgegaan het. Die ontbyt was heerlik. Die huis is pragtig. Ons almal het dit so geniet.
