Okavango Delta Accommodation

Scattered in the forest of a large, beautiful and palm-studded island deep in the Okavango Delta, Delta Camp’s Chalets are designed and built to take advantage of the many indigenous old-growth trees of the island forest.

Island Safari Lodge offers 12 chalets and six rooms set amongst the trees overlooking the Thamalakane River. Each en-suite chalet is equipped with air-conditioning, a television and a hot beverage station.

The Delta Belle Houseboat is ideal for small groups and individuals interested in an Okavango River safari. The houseboat is positioned in one of the greatest wetlands in the world, the Okavango Delta.

Situated between the Moremi Park in Maun and the Chobe National Park, a stopover at Mankwe Bush Lodge is a must. On its own concession, self-drive routes make the lodge perfect for 4x4 enthusiasts.

This camp is situated 30 kilometres east of Maun on the banks of the seasonal Boteti river. We offer an exclusive, quiet, uncrowded, beautiful, treed site for those who wish to stay in the vicinity of Maun. Oddballs’ Enclave is a small, secluded area of the Okavango’s most famous destination. It is set on the same beautiful island and with spectacular views over the floodplains and old-growth forest of the island fringe.

Oddballs' is situated on the edge of Chief's Island, deep in the heart of the Okavango Delta. The camp is accessible by light aircraft only and is a 20-minute flight from Maun. On arrival you will be met at the airstrip and welcomed to the island by your professional guide.

Royal Tree Lodge is a private game reserve located 20 minutes from the iconic safari town of Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta. The lodge is situated on a private reserve on the banks of the Thamalakane River with an abundance of wildlife and an extensive variety of bird life.

Enchanting Camp Okavango sits at the heart of the Okavango Delta on Nxaragha Island. Its main lodge features a cocktail bar, sitting area and wildlife reference library, with the dining room leading onto an expansive open-air patio where evenings around the fire can be enjoyed.

Xugana Island Lodge, situated on the shaded fringe of the island, accommodates just 16 guests in reed and thatch lagoon-facing en-suite chalets with private viewing decks.

A hidden jewel on the Xudum River, Kanana is located in the south west of the Okavango Delta. The area encompasses a necklace of islands dotted with palms, figs, ebony and knobthorn, and is home to a myriad of birds, plants and animals.

The Kanana Mokoro Trail package is a specially-designed mokoro experience, allowing visitors a unique opportunity to search for rarely seen creatures such as the sitatunga and Pel's fishing owl. One of the special attractions of this programme is its exclusivity and flexibility.

The Ngwesi meaning tiger fish Houseboat is consists of a lower and upper deck. The lower deck is the sleeping quarters with four en-suite bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have twin beds while the other two have double beds. The bathrooms all have showers, hand basin with vanity slab, WC and hanging as well as packing space. The WC are flush and there is hot and cold running fresh water.
