The mountains were as beautiful as they said it would be. I was not disappointed. The valleys with its orchards of green citrus trees were stunning. May it never change.

Too many adjectives clamour in my mind if I try to do the Cederberg justice. It is majestic and it commands your soul. Incredible scenery, rock art and salt-of-the-earth locals are part of its wow factor.

If you enjoy roughing and toughing it in the great outdoors, this is the perfect location! I love camping in the Cederberg for the hiking and rock climbing.

The Cedarberg is perfect for a weekend away. It's got beautiful scenery, a great rock pool to swim in and is close enough to Cape Town to make driving there and back really easy.
